\nFabrizio Romano has confirmed that Manchester United’s Donny van de Beek will return to Old Trafford at the end of the season, following the expiry of his loan spell at Eintracht Frankfurt.<\/p>\n
Van de Beek joined Frankfurt in January to escape his troubles in England and to go somewhere where he would be guaranteed significant first-team minutes.<\/p>\n
However, it has not been smooth sailing in Germany for the midfielder, whose struggles to revive his career show no signs of slowing down.<\/p>\n
He has so far managed just seven appearances in the Bundesliga and has amassed 346 minutes of top-flight action.<\/p>\n
Often, the Netherlands international has been an unused substitute for Frankfurt. Van de Beek has started four games for the club and has been brought on in three other matches. He has yet to register a goal or assist for the side despite being deployed in advanced positions on the pitch.<\/p>\n
